Building Access Where It Matters Most: The Completion of UHC Delano, California

Completing the new United Health Centers facility in Delano, California, marks an important moment for our team, not just because it’s our first project in the city, but because of what it brings to the community. For years, many Delano residents have had to travel significant distances just to receive basic healthcare. Being part of the solution to that challenge is something we’re genuinely proud of.

The project called for a full transformation of the building at 601 Cecil Ave., Suite 611, a 16,280 SF tenant improvement paired with interior and exterior remodeling. In partnership with Kelly Architecture + Planning and Facility Designs, we reworked the space into a modern, efficient healthcare environment built to serve thousands of patients annually.

UHC Delano now stands as one of the largest UHC projects we’ve ever built, just behind UHC Minnewawa. And while the size is notable, the impact matters even more. At last week’s open house, seeing the facility energized with staff and community members highlighted what this project represents: easier access, local care, and a meaningful investment in the South Valley.

This build strengthens our presence in a region that continues to inspire our work. Delano may have been our first project here, but it reflects exactly the kind of purpose-driven construction we aim to deliver: projects that meet real needs and improve everyday lives.
