What Matters to You?

If you didn’t know us at Legacy Construction, you might think we are just a general contracting company.

And yes, that’s true.

But what we do goes beyond developing and managing projects across the Central Valley. A big part of our work today is focused on healthcare. We partner with FQHCs to help bring care into the communities that need it most.

On paper, these projects are important for a lot of reasons. The location, the size, the layout, the number of exam rooms. Every detail is planned with intention.

But there is more behind it.

In the San Joaquin Valley, about 7.6% of residents are uninsured. More than that, 63% of people have skipped or delayed care because of cost. Over a third say it is difficult to access quality healthcare.

Those numbers are real, but they also represent people. Families. Communities that do not always have easy access to care.

That is what developing and building these health care facilities is really about. It is about where and who we are building for. It is about making sure care is closer to home for underserved communities. It is about offering more than one type of service, whether that is vision, dental, or mental health. Each project is shaped by the needs of the people in that specific zip code.

While all of this matters to us, we always come back to a simple question. What matters to you?

Is it having healthcare nearby?

Is it being able to get care without waiting or traveling far?

Is it knowing your family has access when it matters most?

Because what matters to you is the reason we build. And that is what makes it matter to us.
